The Frelan JEDO fire door single action spring hinge J9800. This is a set of 3 single action spring hinges designed for interior doors which require an automatic closing action. All 3 Jedo spring hinges must be fitted to the door to ensure correct operation and to comply with Fire Regulations. The hinges contain an adjustable spring that automatically closes the door on each occasion. The tension can be adjusted using a simple Allen Key to set the closing action correctly to each individual door. Using these hinges means no overhead door closer or door jamb closers are required. Recommended for residential or light-use commercial applications. If a controlled closing action is required then you should fit standard hinges and an overhead closer as featured elsewhere on our website
